With Smoothies I can...
I realize many people use smoothies for weight management; reduction for many.

I have been excited about them, because they represent an opportunity to pack more nutrients than I was getting before...

I remember reading an article written by Dr. Weil on getting more greens and especially for breakfast, and I thought, "I'll never be able to do that..." 

But, with smoothies, I can...

Also, personally, I'm not stringent about rules; I personally enjoy being creative and experimenting to seek and find balance and adequacy... For example, recently, I realized I was getting hungry mid-morning... So, I have added Special K - more fiber and more calories - but I wasn't worried about weight.

But with adding "the big rocks in first," (foods that are highly nutrient-dense) I attempt to make sure to get what I needed nutritionally... For lunch, I enjoy salads with beans, eggs, and chicken, many times to enjoy more protein...

Soup, salads, and smoothies help you to win, because they represent opportunities to create nutrient-dense meals...
